Welcome to New Wave English Hub. As the Hub Lead, I am delighted to be entering our ninth year, supporting regional schools to ensure sustained progress in reading and language acquisition, whilst building reading engagement. 

From September 2026, I am even more delighted to expand our offer of support in the following: 

• reading fluency and phonics interventions across KS2
• reading at secondary settings  
• early language and literacy in early years settings.

Immersing every child in reading and ensuring every child, regardless of starting points and backgrounds, flourishes to achieve their potential is our core purpose.

We strive for all children to become proficient readers through a range of support packages, including early reading audits with attached funding, intensive support and medium level support. Our knowledgeable Literacy Specialists deliver an extensive range of support for regional schools. 100% of schools we have worked with highly recommend accessing New Wave English Hub support as a way to strengthen expertise in reading.
